Asian Rubbed Prawn Recipe Ingredients
- 250g green prawns peeled tail on
- 1 tbsp oil of your choice
- 2 tbsp Curry Traders Asian BBQ Rub or Indian BBQ Rub
- 440g Coconut Milk
- 1 lemon
In a nonstick fry pan, heat oil. Add prawns flat on one side, while the prawns are cooking generously add Curry Traders Asian BBQ Rub or Curry Traders Indian BBQ Rub.
Turn prawn over and coat in the rub. While they are cooking add a drizzle of coconut milk. The prawn will absorb the milk. Continue slowly adding coconut milk. Add as much or as little as you like.
Cook for 5 mins or until prawns are cooked.
Once served, top with coriander and a big squeeze of lemon!
This dish can be served on a bed of rice with lots of sauce, an alternative to garlic prawns.
If you wish to add not so much coconut milk, this dish is fantastic served as an entrée, in a wrap or on a bun with lettuce. This is a very versatile quick meal full of flavour and very satisfying.
